What is the process for creating AI-generated battlemaps?

Creating (good) maps using AI is an iterative and interactive process. I decide on a concept, and have a goal of the types of maps I'd like to make. I generate an initial series with a variety of different prompts. Usually each series requires adjustments and several iterations to get in the right direction. Some don't work out. The best results I split out into their own "threads". Each one I'll then start using tools to expand. Usually the initial version is too zoomed in or lacks interesting features. I'll expand in different directions, adjusting the prompt as needed. Finally I'll fix problem spots, where the AI made mistakes, and then if needed, add additional interesting features to the map. This process is also iterative and sometimes takes 10-20 iterations or doesn't work out at all.

How can I customize the AI-generated battlemaps?

What file formats are the battlemaps available in?

All maps are published as jpgs. Jpgs are used over png or other loss-less formats due to file size—the jpgs are 3mb to 9mb each, whereas pngs are 30mb to 90mb each. Pdfs are used for printable versions. If you'd prefer a different format please let me know on Patreon.
